Kristen and I are pretty damn good at bringing our visions to life.
Even in those moments, when the idea hits us and we get super excited about explaining our vision to one another. 🤓
When we found this piece of driftwood. We were looking for a very specific piece that Kristen needed for a commission she was working on.
When I saw this piece. I ran over to it and and excitedly started to explain what I could see.
Ya see, my wife and I have this unspoken agreement that if one of us has a vision then other just nods her head until the explanation is over with and say “yeah babe! Let’s do it!”
Because, well, we both work in two different mediums. So sometimes explaining it doesn’t paint the full picture.
In this situation I had to do my part first. I cut and glazed every single tiny little piece of tile to fit this piece of driftwood. Then I handed it over to Kristen to work her magic.
And hooooooooly sh*+ I couldn’t be more happy with how this piece turned out.
